Sneak Peek Coming Soon.....

Here is the first glimpse of my next project. "Naughty Ned and Wild Hair Sue."

It's a story that I wrote last year, and some of my special nieces and nephews loved it so much, I made it the next priority.  It's inspired by both of my girls. Abigail insists on having long hair, which inevitably leads to brushing knots. I made a joke about naming it, and Ned was born. The character is more Eleanor. Her middle name is Sue, and I found it fitting. She is also always sporting a weird wild pony tail as her bangs are always in her face and she won't sit down to have it done properly.

It's still in it's infancy and I know it will change and grow over the next few months, but I look forward to sharing more soon.

“Harold and the Purple Crayon”You’re exceptionally creative. With even the most basic of supplies, you can create a whole new world, just like Harold. You know that art isn’t just a medium, it’s a way into a whole new world.

I suppose this is fitting with my love of coloring.

My I Miss You Book

"I Miss You All Day All Week" was inspired by my daughter Abigail. She gave me a lot of great ideas. But, there are always more. That is why I created this project.  I love doing activities with my kids and this one gives your child a place to use their imagination and talent to write and illustrate their own "I Miss You Book". Click the image for instructions and template. Please share what ideas they came up with.

What's Your Favorite Children's Book?

I would love to know what your favorite books are. When I was a kid it was the Very Worried Walrus. Click on the image to read my previous blog.

Abigail's would say any "Pete the Cat" Book today, but for the longest time it was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." I have the cutest video of her "reading" it when she was 3. We will save that story for a future blog.

Share any stories you love, whether they are books or your very own.
