When Sue twirled, her hair curled.
When Sue tumbled, her hair jumbled.
When Sue dangled, her hair tangled.
Among the holidays and other 'mom' things, I have been trying to focus on my latest book, “Naughty Ned and Wild Hair Sue.”
I have been heavy handed with my red pen. I originally wrote the story May 2015. I thought it was good, and there it lived happily ever after. Then after my first publication of, “I Miss You All Day All Week”, I rewrote it and started some sketches. It went on the back burner for a few months as I grew “Stories by Mom,” learned about publication, and modified my other book. I thought I would begin this project where I left off, sketching with minor rewrites. Think again. I started from scratch. The theme is the same, and my sketches are still applicable, but my character is taking me in a new and fun direction.
Currently, I estimate it to be 32-36 pages and about 400-450 words. I will also have more than two dozen sketches to work on. Needless to say, the book will take a couple of months. My goal is January 2017. But, that does not mean radio silence.
