Now, this doesn't mean that I was...mean. I shared no matter how much anxiety I felt. This is still the case today. I let me daughters use all of my art stuff. My crayons, my markers, my paints, and my pastels. They get broken, they dry out, they get mixed. My kids also add their art to my drawings. But, it is fun. Because I get to watch them experience art. I get to watch them grow and use their imagination. That is what is important. That is what being a mom is all about.
The three things I want to be when I grew up were an artist, a teacher, and a scientist. Two out of three ain't bad.
